Warning: If you are working from home, please make sure you are connected to the VPN before you carry out these instructions.


1. Press CTRL + ALT + DEL

2. Select "Change a password"

3. You will be asked to enter your old password, your new password and to confirm your new password. Click the arrow pointing right to confirm changes.

4. After the password has been changed, it's good practice to wait 10 minutes and restart key applications (e.g. Outlook). 


Note: If you have "remember my password" activated for your VPN, you will need to clear your VPN credentials before joining the VPN again. A link to a guide on how to do this is below:

Password Requirements:


  • Password must be eight or more characters long.
  • Password must not contain your Username or Display name.
  • Password must contain characters from three of the following four categories:
    • Uppercase characters A-Z (Latin alphabet)
    • Lowercase characters a-z (Latin alphabet)
    • Digits 0-9
    • Special characters (!, $, #, %, etc.)
